Border 2 is CONFIRMED! Sunny Deol announces long-awaited sequel of his iconic war drama

After sharing a cryptic video yesterday and making the internet go wild with speculations, Sunny Deol has confirmed that he will return in one of India’s biggest War films of all time - Border 2.

Produced by T-Series and JP films and written by Nidhi Dutta, daughter of legendary director JP Dutta, Border 2 will be the biggest war film in India. According to rumours, the story is placed in the same setting at the Battle of Longewala and will start shooting sometime in October this year.

Sunny Deol, T-Series and JP films shared a post on social media welcoming Sunny Deol to Border 2 with the caption, “Ek fauji apne 27 saal purane waade ko pura karne, aa raha hai phirse. India's biggest war film, #Border2 / Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta & Nidhi Dutta will be directed by Anurag Singh”

The announcement has been a long time coming, and it is reported that the filmmakers have meticulously planned every detail. According to the buzz, the team behind Border 2 has been working tirelessly to ensure the sequel lives up to the original's legacy. With preparations nearing completion, the film is slated to go on floors in October later this year.

Border 2 is written by Nidhi Dutta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta.
